An extremely chic and highly coveted Christian Dior blue watercolor patterned sheer silk layered slip dress dating back to John Galliano's epic 2006 fall/winter runway collection. John Galliano is widely considered one of the most innovative and influential fashion designers of the early twenty-first century. He mingled his references in often surprising juxtapositions to create extravagant yet intricately engineered and meticulously tailored clothes. This dress is fashioned with two different layers; a light blue fitted bias-cut slip dress and a skillfully draped sheer chiffon watercolor leaf motif overlay. The front bodice scoops low with gorgeous draping throughout the front and back. I love the side covered buttons which is such a beautiful nod to 1930's fashion. This dress has artistic construction and asymmetric lines which look sensational with movement. We added many pictures so you can see how gorgeous it is from all angles. A perfect resort, wedding guest or cocktail look and a wonderful example of John Galliano's talent while he was at Christian Dior.

This 2006 Christian Dior by John Galliano layered slip dress is in beautiful condition with no rips, holes or alterations. Closes with side covered buttons. Only sign of wear is a faint spot to the under slip which isn’t noticeable when on. Please message for detailed pictures. Highly wearable and an investment piece that will continue to increase in value.
