Original vintage 1940s blue silk quilted dressing gown.This stunning 1940s art deco designed robe is made in a beautiful silk satin in dusky blue. Cut with squared 40s padded shoulders, long shaped lapels and cross over fastening. The sleeves are flared in a bell shape with a quilted knot design at the cuff and this design is mirrored on the flared hem of the skirt as a border.
A belted tie at the waist holds the robe together alongside a covered button and there is a pocket opposite.
The back then features a beautiful curved design to the back of the waist making this a stunning piece of design as the quilting lines flow with the body.
Fully quilted in wool with a silk lining.

Condition: good wearable condition, some small repairs to wear in silk. Wear to silk at collar and cuffs as pictured. Faint marks to cuff and bodice as pictured and one small tea mark as pictured.
Dry Cleaned, frozen to prevent moth damage, steamed and Ready to Wear.
As with most vintage items, this cardigan has been previously worn and is over 50 years old.

Material feels sturdy and was a perfect fit compatible for my iPad. There's adequate grip and padding for a comfortable yet slim feel. Magnets hold it close and in one position when propping it up for watching landscape videos. Back is translucent as advertised. Solid product, put it on as i opened my new ipad for immediate protection. Perfectly safe blind buy if you're also getting that 'frequently bought together' suggestion from Amazon.

Bright & Pretty Hot Pink.

Very pretty and bright. It’s thick and great quality. Strong grip and doesn’t come off easily. Easy to clean when it gets dirty. It also has a nice backing. I prefer the transparent bright pink backing than the clear version. I love the strong magnetic for when I position it upwards. It can be positioned downwards too.
