One of the common flaws of single width strips is the inability to accommodate more than 1 adapter unless you want to waste the sockets as the adapter obstructs/covers the adjacent sockets. I somehow didn't notice it had phone jacks on the end of it before I ordered, but this was the only/cheapest option I could find that had a flat plug, and a 6 foot cord, and was a surge protector, AND had indicator lights for protection at least (this additonally has a light for ungrounded). I feel like, what's the point in having a surge protector if it can't tell you whether it's protecting you or not? I needed the flat plug to fit behind a door that remains open fully and has my outlet behind it as a result. Perfect. I don't and probably will never have a use for the phone jacks. It came with a sticker over them which I will just leave for now. But this fit the bill of all other criteria. I guess the 5th criteria was a "known brand" - I didn't want some cheap "travel surge protector" by an unknown company. Belkin, Tripp Lite, APC...don't risk your expensive electronics. I also got a few of the Amazon Basics ones to put around the house and replace the power taps we were using. But they don't have flat plugs.
